Can Bulk runs of letters be deleted or archived as they are attached on each donors record. If they are not then maybe they can be archived into months etc to make the whole area cleaner and easier to sort through.

Since templates that are attached to bulk runs can't be deleted, add the ability to archive templates that are no longer used in Letter Box so that they can be hidden in the interface.
Once a bulk letter run has been created it would be great to have the option to select a different contact person for specific letters
Ability to assign a letter template for each gift when adding in to RE NXT. Then having the ability to do a bulk letter run with multiple templates that have been assigned when entering the gift.
It would be very helpful to include this field when creating letters thanking donors for supporting a particular event and purchasing a package.
Create the option to change an email in a bulk letter run to PDF only and vice versa.
Is it possible to edit and make a customisable name to bulk letter runs? I use the same list to create donation receipts and each bulk letter is coming up with the same name. It would be really helpful to see a descriptive name, such as the date for each bulk letter run.
The action description automatically populates "Generated a gift letter..." We would like an option to say "Generated an invoice..."
With the role out of organisation contact types and dynamic personalisation fields, the "name" field will export the main contact's name rather than the name of the organisation that made the gift.
In receipts, we will need a seperate "constituent name" field that will always export the name of the constituent that made the gift, regardless of whether it is an individual or an organisation.
The ability to change the name of the generated PDFs from bulk letter runs. It currently uses the template name and would prefer to use internal naming conventions for the templates and then edit before sending to constituents.
The gift attributes/custom fields for pledges should be available to be used for the associated pledge payments
For example,
{{Today ()}} + 7, so letters don't seem "stale." Or
{{gift date}} plus 30, for next suggested giving date.
Please modify the addressee personalization field so that Letter Box removes (or observes) the conditional and hard breaks that have been built into the addressee and salutation configurations within the database view (dbv) that are still necessary for Mail functions in RE dbv like envelopes and labels. Thank you :)
The ability to arrange the fiels in the table, and sort by them. Right now, date appears to the right of amount, which was unexpected, and the information isn't sorted by either field; appears to be mostly in date order, but sometimes out of date order seemingly randomly. Unclear what field the table sorts by, but being able to rearrange the columns and choose which field to sort by would be incredibly helpful
Low priority.
The ability to set all templates at once to a certain margin, spacing, font, and pt size. Right now, if we decide to run a new letterhead or change the official font, all templates have to be changed individually, which is a pain.
This is not needed very often at all, but when it is needed, it's sorely missed.
The ability to clone a conditional gift template with all of its logic.
When you make conditional gift templates, the fields to filter through are text boxes. This means you have to be very sure you're spelling things correctly, and if you change the name of the record, you have to remember to also change it in the conditional template. A lookup field shows you the options as they are spelled and creates a permanent link where changing the name of the record will not break it.
This issue is exacerbated by the requirement to choose a default letter on conditional gift templates. If there were no default letter, you could just run the list through and count on things not properly hit in the logic just being left out of the letters. Instead, they get the default letter and it obscures that they weren't properly triggered.
The ability to say "
If fund = X AND Constituent type = individual,
then send Template X- for Individuals;
If fund = X AND Constituent type = organization,
then send Template X - for organizations"
1 - you can't even access the field that specifies if the constituent is org or ind. Only all of your constituent codes, which means if you change those, you have to remember to go and change the conditional templates.
2 - This wouldn't be so necessary if you could create logic in the template, as the need for separate templates is due to needing separate headers - salutation/addressee for individauls and name for organizations (since orgs don't have salutation/addressee, and the letter comes out with a blank space. It's still an issue of not being able to say "If fund is X and amount is > Y, send "Super Thank You" Template; if fund is X and amount is <=Y, send "Normal Thank You" Template"
3 - Right now having to strategicaly combine separate lists -> separate conditional gift templates, different conditional templates, and different literal templates to achieve the same goal. Ideally, one list of unacknowledge letters and then a conditional template with AND/OR Logic that can work for all of them.
Need to be able to center templates vertically, so they are centered on the page no matter the length of the merge fields.
Margins don't work as well for this due to that varying length of merge fields.
Currently the user that authorised the app is used. Modify to use the user that created the letter.
This would allow users to specify whether they would like cents in a gift to be shown or not when added to their template. Should users select that cents not be displayed, the gift amount would be rounded down to the nearest dollar.
If we are using this tool to print a physical letter, we need to have better indicators as to its length. The template in which we type should be sized just like in a Word Document or a Google Doc so we can see where our margins are and when we are going onto a second page.
This feature would restrict certain users from accessing Letter Box or specific features. Some examples include:
This feature would allow a fundraiser to be assigned to an action upon email/PDF generation.
